My name is Matthew Guichard, and I'm a Broadcast Journalism and International Relations major. I was originally born in New York City and moved out to California in elementary school.
I developed an interest in journalism in high school after taking an introductory journalism class. I proceeded to join the newspaper where I went on to become the managing editor. With these experiences, I decided to attended USC as a journalism major.
Prior to this class, I've had little HTML experience aside from a 7th grate applied technology class. I do, however, have plenty of experience with Photoshop and Insdesign. I normally read mainstream sites like CNN.com and BBC.co.uk. I have a Facebook, like every other college student, but no twitter. I plan on tracking CNN.com and BBC.co.uk as my traditional sites. I also plan on following realclearpolitics.com as my non-traditional site.
